Paytently SBC Summit Competition – Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Paytently SBC Summit Lisbon 2025 competition (the “Competition”). By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Promoter

The Competition is organised and promoted by Paytently (“Promoter”), who can be contacted at hello@paytently.com.

2. Eligibility

• The Competition is open to attendees of the SBC Summit Lisbon 2025 aged 18 years or over.
• Employees of the Promoter, its affiliates, agents, or suppliers, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.
• Only one entry per person will be accepted. Multiple entries by the same individual may result in disqualification.

3. How to Enter

• Entries can be submitted either:
  • In advance via the Promoter’s online entry form (link to be provided), or
  • In person at Paytently Stand E150 during the SBC Summit Lisbon 2025.
• All entries must be received before the closing date of 17th September 2025 at 17:00 (WEST). Entries received after this time will not be considered.
• No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

4. Prizes

• First Prize: Apple Watch (Series model may vary).
• Second Prize: Apple AirTag.
• Third Prize: Apple AirTag.
• Prizes are as stated and no cash or alternative will be offered. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value should circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.
• Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

• The First Prize winner will be selected by random draw and announced live at Stand E150 at 13:30 (WEST) on Wednesday 17th September 2025. The winner must be present at the stand to claim their prize; if they are not present, the Promoter reserves the right to draw an alternative winner.
• The Second and Third Prize winners will be selected by random draw at the end of Day 2 (17th September 2025). Winners will be contacted by the Promoter and may collect their prizes from Stand E150 at 10:00 (WEST) on Thursday 18th September 2025.
• If a winner fails to claim their prize at the specified time, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.

6. Data Protection and Privacy

• Participant details will be collected and processed solely for the purposes of administering the Competition.
• By entering the Competition, participants agree that Paytently may also contact them for business-related marketing communications relevant to Paytently’s services.
• Personal data will not be sold, transferred, or shared with any third parties outside of Paytently, except where required by law.
• All data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

7. Liability

• The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed, incomplete, or corrupted entries due to technical errors or issues beyond its control.
• The Promoter is not liable for any damage, loss, or injury resulting from participation in the Competition or acceptance of a prize, except where caused by negligence of the Promoter.

8. General

• The Promoter’s decision regarding all aspects of the Competition is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.
• The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the Competition if necessary due to events outside of its control.
• These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
